In 2017 I wrote and directed my first play, THE BIRTHING PIT, a Gothic Romance at the end of the American Revolutionary War. I am grateful for the collaboration with actors Jensen Chambers and Maia Kazin. 

This is the trailer we made after early reviews were posted. For this upload, I appended some photos taken during our tech rehearsal. 

This hour-long version had five performances in the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival— half the duration, half the characters, and only one of the songs— "Lowlands Away”— partially heard in this trailer. 

Hollywood Fringe Festival Synopsis: 

They followed the blood. And the blood followed the gold. Fleeing a mysterious pestilence at the end of the American Revolutionary War, a Rhode Island couple journeys home from the Caribbean. But when tragedy strikes at sea, possibly from supernatural causes, can their love endure beyond the grave?
